Hello, everyone! I’m Anastasia Goncharova

I’m a professional tennis player, born in Moscow, Russia, and raised in Evanston, Illinois. I’m so excited to have this space where I can connect with all of you as I continue my journey in the world of tennis. Tennis has been a huge part of my life from a young age, and I can’t wait to share my experiences, updates, and more with you here in this group!

A little about my journey so far:

• High School Achievements: I attended Evanston Township High School (ETHS), where I had an unforgettable tennis career. I was ranked among the top 30 recruits in the U.S. for the class of 2018 and was the No. 3 player in Chicago. I earned back-to-back runner-up finishes at the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) state finals in 2016 and 2017, and set school records with a 45-6 overall win-loss record (IHSA Tennis History).

• Collegiate Career: My college tennis career started at the University of California-Santa Barbara (UCSB), where I had a solid freshman season. I later transferred to the University of Utah for my junior year and finished strong, ranking #15 in singles and #2 in doubles in the ITA Mountain Region alongside my doubles partner Madison Tattini (ITA Rankings).
  

Recent Milestones:In 2024, I was honored to be inducted into the ETHS Athletics Hall of Fame, a moment that celebrated my high school, collegiate, and professional achievements. It was an incredible recognition that I’m so grateful for!
